Romeo and Juliet lesson on Act 1 Scene 5. In this lesson we explore Romeo’s use of language as he meets Juliet for the first time and how she responds to his use of religious imagery. Using differentiated activities and engaging and relevant resources, students analyse the use of language in key short extracts, build up an understanding of the relationship between Romeo and Juliet and create their own analytical paragraphs before self-assessing them based on clear success criteria.
